Grant Village Lake House Restaurant

Elk just walk up and eat. The Lake is beautiful, Wildlife everywhere.

Nice location. Was not crowded when we were there. Decent selection on menue. Don't get your hopes up.

Ate there this week. Utensils were dirty and greasy. Marinara sauce had unpeeled chunks of tomato not cooked and loads of red and yellow rotten peppers. Ravioli was over cooked and ricotta filling was tasteless. Scraped off sauce to eat a couple of ravioli because after a five hour plane trip and another four hours of a car trip, I was exhausted and hungry. Told staff of condition of knives etc but with a mainly foreign staff, I don’t think the seriousness of the matter was understood. Finally talked to two managers who were seen talking outside. Hopefully, things will improve. The menu is limited and lines are long. For almost $17, the mess was not worth it. Plus, it wasn’t even hot. Can’t even say hot mess! Location is beautiful.

Very good food for reasonable prices!! Plus the view is gorgeous!! Wait staff were all very nice and attentive. Do wish it was a little easier to find. A few signs would help. We would have eaten there every time while we visited the park if we had found it the first night.

It clearly most of the meats are frozen and they just reheated it. Not many choices in the menu. We ate there because it was that or started. I feel bad that in such a beautiful place as Yellowstone isn't a good place to eat.

Pretty view, food just okay. Side vegetable was carrots which were literally just steamed/warmed baby carrots. And the Parmesan garlic fries were quite odd and not worth the cost, should just be regular fries. You order and then sit down.

Nicest waitress from Alabama with a gorgeous accent! Food was TO DIE FOR! I had the Flatbreads and they were the best pizza I've had in a long time. Even their cheesecake was too! Haven't gone to a good, family-friendly restaurant like that in a while. So casual and perfect for any evening.

View and food were awesome. Enjoyed conversing with staff.

Beautiful scenery and good was good.

The manager of this place was amazing. After a long day in park we reached the restaurant almost at closing time. They took our order and also managed to serve a big party of tourist from China with very special requests ( EP's). Friendly staff and very accommodating.

Great location with good value. Much better than the Grant Village Dining Room.

Beautifull place but meal just at school level

Not too many choices for eating if you stay over in Yellowstone but this was a nice place walking distance from our cabin breakfast and dinner. Rooms were lovely with extra blankets and fans right in the room. Felt like a luxurious cabin in the woods. Very quiet though completely booked.

Not great, but all restaurants in the park sucks. My recommendation is to keep it simple, sausage is ok here, but the best bet is to only order hot wings. Meatloaf is really bad.

Nastiest food I have ever eaten. The expense? LOL!

This place has excellent lake view when you have your meal. You don’t need reservations in advance for this one. All you need is find your preference and go to register to order and make payment, and then you will get a number sign, put in on your table and wait for your meal to be served.

Food is fine. A better stop than some in the park. Nice view of the lake.

Kinda cheap n cheerful but good was OK

No TV, very poor WiFi, disgusting bathroom with hairs on the floor, no air conditioning and very expensive for this quality level (about 340$) ! I know basics motel which for 60 $ offer a much higher quality ! The only positive points are the design of the bedroom and the location of the hotel in the park.

I worked at the Lake House summer 2018 and have a few tips.Best Foods- Any appetiser, any soup, the wild game meatloaf *made inhouse*, brats, and the entire kids menu. I always bought the chicken tenders with gar parm fries. Request 2 sides to bypass the seasonal veg.This is the best place to eat at in Grant and probably the park. Views are beautiful no matter the weather.

Great views! But the meals were ok!

We loved the view and atmosphere. The food was a four, but it was good after a long day off hiking.

Outstanding service and the food was delicious!! Portabello mushroom fries are to die for! Roasted red pepper and Gouda soup, super yummy!! Best views in the park!!

Had some of the worst food we ever tasted at this place. Food is bland and disgusting for a high price. The raviolli was swimming in water, the huckleberry chicken sauce was ketchup and the meatloaf was disgusting.Service and view are good.

Great ambiance, right on the lake. Had a pretty decent breakfast buffet with a variety for everyone to get what they want. The dinner I had there was very yummy and priced fair.

Everything about this dining experience was wonderful! We walked in (family of 5) on a friday night without a reservation, were immediately seated, and extremely well taken care of. The service was fantastic and the food...my goodness, was it perfect! So tasty and cooked well! The prices were actually reasonable for the quality of the food and service. Again I cant say enough good things about our meal, and I was quite pleasantly surprised considering some of the reviews on here.

worst dining-experience ever!

Comparable to a college cafeteria. Quite edible, but you shouldn't come here expecting great food. The brats were ok. The kids liked their chicken tenders.

Enjoyed a fantastic scenery and slightly pricy food while watching Moose walk by under a full moom

Reaaly nice place to eat meal with gorgeous lake views. Dinner is good with a variety of entrees. Unfortunately for breakfast, they only offered a buffet option.

Seriously limited dinner menu, My order came cold and with uncooked rice. was told "It's supposed to be that way" Eventually a manager replaced my food with a new plate, that also came out cold. Come here for the absolutely amazing location- not the food.

Food is great, menu has different options. A relaxed environment, there is a nice view of the lake, but service was a little slow.
